1. Take I-40 west to exit 347 Harriman.
2. Turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp (unless you are going to McDonald’s). You will go 7+ miles before your next turn. The traffic signals in Rockwood are numbered 1- 6. Go through town and through the last light, number six (6).
3. After light number 6 you need to be in the left-hand lane. On the right side of the road there will be a blue sign for “Harbour Point Marina 6.0 miles”. A left-hand turn lane will appear shortly after the sign. Turn left. (This is Nelson St.)
4. Your next turn will be in 3.6 miles. You will pass a water treatment facility on your left in two miles. The road narrows shortly after it… so please be sure to slow down. At the next turn (3.6 miles from the turn onto Nelson St.) there will be a few short signs on the right-hand side. The most prominent one is a yellow sign with the script words “Crystal Cove” on it. Crystal Cove is a real estate development that you will pass en route to the camp. There will also be a small Camp Buck Toms sign. On the opposite side of the road there is a maroon colored home. Turn left at these signs onto Winton Chapel Rd.
5. Proceed along this road for another couple miles to Camp Buck Toms. Coming down the last hill to the Camp there is a “Dangerous Intersection” and a “Dead End” sign. Be careful -- the road takes a hard left-hand turn.
6. Proceed along this road to the camp. Enjoy the turkeys and peacocks (if you see them).
